Lori Harvey risks spending time in prison after her hit and run accident. However, it’s not impossible for her to avoid a bad sentence altogether and one lawyer explains how!
In case you haven’t heard, the model hit a car that was parked and instead of dealing with it, walked away from the scene.
Sharen H. Ghatan tells HollywoodLife that the incident could land Steve Harvey’s daughter behind bars.
‘[Lori] definitely could go to jail. A hit and run is serious. Sometimes people don’t realize that it does involve jail. [However] it is going to be likely for somebody like [Lori], who probably has no priors, to resolve this with a restitution hearing — which means she can resolve this with a monetary penalty. She’s probably going to get off,’ she dished to the news outlet.
At this point, it is known that Loti was arrested as well as given a misdemeanor citation.
Apparently, her Mercedes G-Wagon hit a parked vehicle, which ended up flipping her own car!
It may sound pretty scary but the Beverly Hills Police Department previously confirmed via HollywoodLife that Lori was not injured and neither was anyone else.
Afterwards, she ‘left the scene of the collision. The driver, determined to be Lori H., was ultimately contacted by the police in the area. Due to the fact that she left the scene of the collision without providing her information and contacting police as is required by the law, and caused a delayed in the investigation, she was cited for misdemeanor hit and run.’
The lawyer explained that the severity of her punishment depends on the severity of the damages caused to the other car.

But at the end of the day, it’s not likely that Lori will end up behind bars at all.
