In 1982, Mayor Ed Koch appoints her as a criminal judge and then promote them to supervising judge in the family court’s Manhattan Division.

Her tough nature towards invalid things made her the subject of a Los Angeles Times Article. Her intention for helping common people was featured in CBS’s 60Seconds a news channel program that gives her national recognition in 1993. She retires as a family court judge after hearing 20000 cases in 1996.
