Birmingham was the next stop on Josh Taylor’s “Hot For Me” Tour and it was electric from start to finish.
After an amazing show at Belfast, Josh Taylor went on to perform in Birmingham on the second date of his tour.

He was joined by four support acts, who really got the crowd going. These support acts were Will Homewood, Bronnie, Harri Oakland and Robyn Regan.
Hosted at the Rainbow Venues club in Digbeth, Birmingham; the doors opened at 2pm, where we were lead to an underground arena. Will Homewood was the first act and he definitely didn’t let his nerves get the best of him. Singing stripped back covers of songs everyone knew, his sweet voice transcended the entire venue. Stand out songs included his cover version of Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better”, which was his first song; as well as his cover version of “Obviously” by McFly, which definitely took us back.

Next up was Bronnie, the girl who is bringing back pop/rock. She sang original songs which had the whole club jumping and singing along. She next launched into a brilliant mashup of “Stacy’s Mom” and “Teenage Dirtbag” by Fountains of Wayne and Wheatus respectively. This is something you HAVE to hear live. Her last song was her second solo single “High School Sucks” which went down a treat. CelebMix grabbed an interview with Bronnie after her performance.
Whilst we were interviewing Bronnie, Harri Oakland appeared on stage. His soulful voice could be heard throughout the entire venue. Covers of Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” and Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” were outstanding.

Knowing you’re the act before Josh Taylor must be nerve-wracking, but Robyn Regan killed it like it was her own tour. Her beautiful authentic voice worked perfectly with every song she sang. She completely nailed each song starting off with a cover of Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband” and then turning it into a rave with her last song: “Everytime We Touch” originally sung by Cascada. Her voice was spectacular and she connected with the audience easily and effortlessly. She did trip on stage as there is a dip, but she didn’t let it faze her and laughed it off.

Then it was time for the star of the show, the guy everyone has been waiting for. By now the crowd was geared up for Josh Taylor, and boy did he bring quite the show.
The crowd was full of energy and Josh Taylor used that to his advantage. His performance as a whole was great to watch. His voice was strong throughout and he never faltered. He even stripped it back in the middle of his show by singing two acoustic songs.

His love for his fans is obvious, he tried to get as close as possible and gave out high-fives and reached across to his fans plenty of times. He introduced some of the songs by explaining what they mean to him and where his inspiration came from. At one point he soaked the audience with a bottle of water as it was roasting in the underground venue.
