Charli XCX brought out Halsey as a surprise guest during her set the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago yesterday (August 6th).
The two pop princess performed a cover of the Spice Girls ‘Wannabe’ and the crowd went WILD!
“You guys like girl power, right?” Charli asked the crowd ahead of the performance. ‘Sing along if you know it… you know it!’
The ‘Boom Clap!’ singer performed the first verse of the iconic Spice Girls single solo, before introducing Halsey out on to the stage.
The duo then performed the rest of the song together and even attempted some of the Spice Girls classic choreography.

Taking to Twitter ahead of her performance at the festival, Charli teased fans that she might have a spicy surprise in store for fans.

The girls spice themed performance comes ahead of their joint tour next month, which will see Charli XCX support Halsey across North America.
The ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’ tour kicks off this September in Uncasville and runs through to November.
